ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY

Simon Gade Olsen has an undergraduate degree in Film and Television Arts from California State University, Northridge and a graduate degree in Documentary Production from the University of Stavanger.

Simon's previous documentary Letters from Southern-Lebanon (2022) was chosen as official selection at the Movies on War Film Festival in Elverum, Norway.

The screening of Letters from Southern-Lebanon at Movies on War landed Simon a membership at Directors Guild of Norway (DGN | NFR Norske filmregissører). Simon has worked in the camera and electrical department of over 40+ productions -- most often as a set lighting technician.

Mikolaj Kepinski holds a master's degree in cinematography from the Polish Film School in Lodz (2015).

Mikolaj is an FNF ( Foreningen Norske Filmfotografer | The Norwegian Society of Cinematographers) associate member, and has collaborated on Alexander Nanau's documentary about Nobel laureate Maria Reese.

Notable works include Viktor Quach's En midnatts vuggesang (2023) and Liew Ceng Teng's Kim og Wenche - retten til å elske (2022, NRK). As a media production teacher, he simultaneously contributes to a documentary on Ukraine's frontline volunteers, showcasing his adaptability with modern film technologies.

Lukasz Graczyk navigates the Polish film industry with a mix of experience and accomplishments.

Having studied at the University of Lodz and the Polish Film School, Lukasz has a strong foothold in film production and historical costume.

Starting at 15, Lukasz worked his way up from a costume assistant to heading military historical costumes at Lodzkie Centrum Filmowe.
